Production Supplies and Equipment Rental

The supplies and equipment needed for a production always vary on the scope, scale and type of production that you are putting on. A theatre venue may own most of the equipment you need, but there are times when you may want to include specific equipment that they do not have and so, you may need to buy or rent equipment. Finally, ask the industry!

There are many people, in Toronto specifically, that own lighting, sound, projection and other types of equipment. Send out a few (polite) asks to see if you may be able to borrow some equipment from a fellow colleague. Ensure to ask if it is for rental, or if they are lending it for free and never assume that you will be able to loan it for free.
